Chargers vs Bills Week 14
In week 14 of the 2011 NFL Season the Chargers were coming off of a win for the first time in 7 weeks.
Phillip Rivers and the Chargers proved that the better side of this 2 sided squad was back in action. I’m only 31 – I have knowledgeable memories from 95 on but I do know some history and I can’t think of, nor can I imagine a more streaky team then the Chargers over the last 5 seasons.
Final Score : Chargers 37 – Bills 10
The Chargers blew the doors off of the Buffalo Bills in week 14 by a score of 37 to 10. The Buffalo Bills that were 5 and 2 at one point with a win over the mighty Patriots. The week before that, they blew the doors off of the Jags by a score of 38 to 14.
Albeit neither team is of elite status but if the Chargers played anything like they’ve been playing prior to week 13, they wouldn’t have beaten anyone.
Started 4 and 1
QB Phillip Rivers - Chargers
The Chargers started the season 4 and 1, they then proceeded to lose 6 straight before getting a win in Jacksonville.
During the 6 game losing streak they were dreadful, during the early 4 and 1 start they were talked about as one of the best in the AFC. In week 14 they’re finally playing to their true potential but sadly, it may be too late.
With a 6 and 7 record they no longer “control their own destiny”.
Final Quarter
The 2011 NFL season is officially in its final quarter and a 6 and 7 record in week 15 eliminates them from the Wild Card race. But, luckily for them its still possible for them to win their division, but they’ll need a lot of help.
The wheels have completely come off in Oakland, and the Chargers will need them to continue their losing ways. The Bronco’s are 7 and 1 since America’s favorite Christian took over, but I’m not completely sold on them.

The Chargers split with the Bronco’s head to head, but based on remaining schedule they can’t win the division conference tie breaker if they both finish 9 and 7. Right now the Bronco’s are 8 and 5 coming off another over time victory that the Bears should have just given them.
If the Chargers hope to shock the world and make it into the Post Season, they need the Bronco’s to lose their last 3 while they win out.
